Brady has had quite a career journey over the past decade in the nonprofit industry. In the earlier years of his work, Brady held various roles at the University of Toronto, from working as a Donor Services Officer to a Senior Development Officer in plan giving. Brady has also been a Director of Integrated Direct Marketing at Heart and Stroke.

At the beginning of the episode, Brady discusses his earlier experiences working in marketing in the nonprofit sector, highlighting the risks he took to get to where he is in his career.

Throughout the rest of the talk, Brady discusses the marketing strategies used for Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, and general marketing advice for those interested in or who are currently working in the nonprofit industry. 

Brady also discusses the challenges Covid-19 has had on business and how the brand has overcome these in the past year or so.

The episode wraps up with Brady talking about the future of marketing and how he believes right now is the best and most exciting time to live and work as a professional marketer.
